Nature photography is something I approach in a very casual way. I do not usually go out looking for a particular image or with the intention of creating a specific project. Most of these photographs happen simply because I am outdoors, walking, travelling or spending some quiet time away from everyday routines.

Having a camera with me makes me pay a little more attention. Light passing through trees, the shape of a landscape, changing weather, vegetation, textures or small details that would otherwise be easy to overlook can suddenly become interesting.

There is no pressure to come back with a photograph. That is probably what I enjoy most about it. The camera is simply part of the experience — a reason to observe, slow down and occasionally record something that catches my attention.

These images are therefore less about documenting nature and more about the pleasure of being there. They are small visual notes from relaxed moments outdoors, photographed freely and without a fixed theme.

A fotografia de natureza surge para mim de forma muito casual. Normalmente não saio à procura de uma imagem específica; muitas destas fotografias acontecem simplesmente enquanto caminho, viajo ou passo algum tempo ao ar livre.

Ter uma câmara comigo faz-me observar com mais atenção a luz entre as árvores, a forma da paisagem, o tempo, a vegetação e pequenos detalhes. São sobretudo notas visuais de momentos tranquilos, fotografadas livremente e sem um tema fixo.
