ORGANIC RED WARM PRESET

Organic Red Warm was developed from a photographic series made in the Serra dos Candeeiros, around the Fórnea area, in central Portugal.

The landscape is dominated by limestone, stone walls, dry vegetation and small plants growing between the rocks. While walking through the area with my camera, I became interested not only in the wider landscape, but also in these small details and textures.

The preset emerged naturally while processing these photographs.

Warm, earthy and organic

The colour palette is based on warm reds and oranges, muted greens and subdued blues, while preserving the pale character of the limestone.

Highlights are controlled to retain detail in the bright stone and sky, while the shadows remain relatively open. A subtle grain and vignette complete the slightly nostalgic character of the images.

The result is a warm and earthy look that works particularly well with:

• natural and rural landscapes
• dry vegetation
• stone and limestone
• plants and organic textures
• old walls and abandoned buildings

For me, Organic Red Warm is less about reproducing the exact colours of the landscape and more about interpreting the atmosphere I found while walking through the Serra dos Candeeiros.

The preset wasn’t created before the photographs.

It emerged from them.

O Organic Red Warm nasceu de uma série fotografada na Serra dos Candeeiros, na zona da Fórnea. A paisagem de calcário, muros de pedra, vegetação seca e pequenas plantas entre as rochas acabou por definir naturalmente a paleta do preset.

Vermelhos e laranjas quentes, verdes atenuados e azuis discretos preservam o carácter claro do calcário. O objetivo não é reproduzir exatamente as cores da paisagem, mas interpretar a atmosfera encontrada durante a caminhada. Como nos restantes presets desta coleção, primeiro veio a fotografia; o preset surgiu depois.
